Admission is free, and there's a café at the small Moorbahn station serving homemade cakes.

The view is great, if you have binoculars and you can watch the birds, the lookout tower is a great place to take a break and relax a little birdie. I would not go there during the bird migration season. Then it is packed.

Two lookout towers facing east are also accessible by wheelchair, the south facing is much higher, the windows are individually covered with truck tarpaulin, so it does not pull as much, as long as you do not open all the windows.
Views to the east, south and west possible, in good weather many people. From here you can see a lot of waterfowl in the winter, in the twilight cranes that seem to spend the night here. At least one white-tailed eagle is also to be observed.

Watching the bird is worth it to arrive very early before sunrise, then not so much going on.
