Kapfenhardt Castle is a ruined hilltop castle on a hill about 1750 m east of Kapfenhardt, today a district of Weissach in the Böblingen district. Historically, the castle was called Villa Kaphenhardt in 1254 and later Castrum Kapfenhardt with the Lords of Enzberg, who certainly owned the castle before 1283. In 1294, Heinrich von Enzberg, who was ministerial to the Bishop of Speyer, named himself after the castle and donated it to Maulbronn Monastery on May 6, 1299. Of the former castle complex with a rounded castle hill and double moat ring, the castle hill and the inner moat ring are still preserved.
