In the middle of the steep rock face of the Flimserstein lies a meadow that has been accessible since the mid-18th century and has also been used for agriculture - the Pinut. It was the pioneering work of Christian Meiler, a citizen of Flims, who in 1906 used metal ladders to turn the life-threatening ascent into a risk-free, thrilling adventure and made the wall of the Flimserstein accessible from the foot to the Stein plateau. In half of the steep wall he erected a locked gate, the key to which was only given after paying a tax in the Fidazer Hof. However, due to the First World War, the hoped-for guests stayed away and the climb fell into a 100-year slumber from which it was awakened in 2006 by the tourist association and Chäpp Rhyner with a kiss. The motive remained the same, but it was worth it. With many steps you can easily hike through the exposed wall and the view down is unique. In particular, the first part of the climb to the Pinut is very exposed and requires a 100% head for heights. Today, however, the ascent is of course free of charge.

Easy via ferrata that requires a good head for heights, especially in the first part up to the suspension bridge.
For a via ferrata there are a lot of ladders (27) but almost no metal steps or metal pins.

This is an easy (beginner's) klettersteig/VF but is long (in 3 parts) so pace yourself accordingly...
