The promenade is a completely different place. Once empty and sad, today it is really beautiful. There is a playground, alleys, ponds, fountains and a small rose garden. The renovation of the Promenade is finally coming to an end. It's a great place to walk.

The original trees in the area of the Promenade have largely survived to this day. They form a shady avenue planted with Norway maples, sycamore trees, limes, hornbeams and chestnut trees. From the side of the railway station, the trees enter the escarpment, creating a wide strip of tall greenery that shades and suppresses noise. In the area of the stadium, the old trees were deformed by the introduction of black poplar, pyramidal and large-leaved varieties, interspecific hybrids of poplars, white hanging willow and black locust. Several exceptionally impressive beeches and hornbeams grow on the slope in the area of the passage under the power line. The English oak in the immediate vicinity of MOSiR is also exceptionally impressive.

The green areas accompanying the Promenade, stretching towards the Black Przemsza River, were in the past arranged into an open, treeless park. Currently, as a result of ground subsidence, they have turned into wet meadows and ponds with rush vegetation. They constitute an interesting supplement to the entire Promenade's establishment and can potentially become a refuge for wetland birds. Coot, mallard duck and water moor already nest here.

One of the greatest advantages of the Promenade is the spring flowing from the right slope.
