A little hint:

The many street restaurants/pizzerias invite you to linger, but they are not really Czech! And you have to be careful not to be "ripped off":

- very expensive

- Always pay in crowns! The euro prices, which are often handwritten on the invoice, are extremely "rounded up" (to put it mildly...)

- In several restaurants, the tip of 10-20% is "automatically" added to the price and printed out without mentioning it verbally when paying! If you then tip as usual... What should you think of that???

- Hopefully word has gotten around that you shouldn't exchange money at the many exchange points in the center!!!

--> But of course they still exist: the rustic, cozy Czech restaurants. You just have to search... or know them from before.

The old town is definitely recommended. There is something for everyone. Art, history and of course shops and restaurants. As far as the prices are concerned, you should just pay attention to/compare the prices.
They still exist, the restaurants where a large beer costs around 50 crowns😉
