Next to the Vrijenbergerspreng runs the gravel road Vrijenbergerspreng (it's all in the name ;-)).
A spring is an excavated natural water source on the Veluwe. The source itself is located on the east side of this segment and runs to the Apeldoorns Kanaal. The gravel road is in good and hard condition and is popular with many cyclists. It is not only a beautiful road through the forest, but you also pass a number of nice waterfalls, including the highest in the Netherlands ;-)

Lovely gravel route along the deep-lying Vrijenberg Spreng and the Loenen Waterfall (small). Keep in mind hikers!

Nice long gravel. Yes, the Loenense waterfall is officially the longest waterfall in the Netherlands (don't expect too much of it), but the beauty for me is the ride along the Vrijenbergerspreng to the source and on to Bruisbeek. One of my favourites.
