          The bridge is a good way to get to the other bank of the canal, as it has a direct connection to the cycle paths. On other bridges you have to get off and often carry/push the bike up a flight of stairs. If you want to drive to the confluence of the Elbe Lateral Canal and the Mittelland Canal south of Calberlah, this bridge would be the last one that you can cross completely while driving.
