This 430 m high point lies between the districts Hiltersklingen and Unter-Mossau. It takes its name from the place where once the Traveling People, the Gypsies, camped. The municipalities have assigned to them this position - there are several of these names in the Odenwald - preferably outside of the villages. It was not enough that many legends were attached to these camps.
