The top of Mount Morrison offers views of the city and if you flip a 180 you have amazing views of the mountains. This trail is hard given its steep nature and scramble at the top, but it's the best view you can get without having to enter the mountains. Maybe a perk, but you can hear music playing at Red Rocks throughout the trail.

It is a top of mountain. I would suggest to go back from this top and not continue trip by the Grapevine road
