          The Luisenberger Turm is a 22 meter high observation tower in Kellinghusen in the Steinburg district in Schleswig-Holstein. The tower, designed in neo-Gothic style, was built in 1858 to replace a wooden observation tower. Its name comes from the north-facing house of Count Hans zu Rantzau, who named it after his wife Luise. A staircase with 85 steps leads to the viewing platform, on the parapet of which orientation boards are attached and which provide a good panoramic view. After extensive renovation, the tower has been accessible again since 2009.

                "Count Hans Heinrich zu Rantzau built the house north of the tower in 1804 and named it after the first name of his wife Louise. After the merchant Edward Ross bought the property in 1822, he replaced a wooden observation tower in 1858 with the neo-Gothic style tower that has been preserved to this day .

                The tower is open to visitors free of charge every 1st Sunday of the month (April to October) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. You can also borrow the tower key for a deposit during the opening hours of the INFO in the community center. The tower is opened to visitors for the geranium and pottery market.
