The Borraco torrent, or Boraco (Burràcu in Salento), is a torrent located in Puglia, in the province of Taranto in the municipality of Manduria. along the coastal road that leads from San Pietro in Bevagna (which is 1 km away) to Monaco Mirante (which is 2 km away) and Campomarino di Maruggio (which is 5 km away).
The stream is 0.8 km long and is located on the western Litoranea Salentina road near the Mandurian hamlet of San Pietro in Bevagna, next to the Borraco Tower, built in the 16th century in the territory of Manduria (at the time called Casalnuovo) and, more precisely, in the "Comunale" sub-feud also known as "Concordato" (see the Catasto Onciario of Manduria of 1756, the Sallentine Atlas by Giuseppe Pacelli, year 1803 and, again, A.S,Na., Attuari Diversi, fs.205, inc.1: Offer deeds by F.S.
