"A new hiking paradise on 27 kilometers was created in 2017 around the Baldeneysee in Essen. The circular hiking trail is part of the Green Capital Days as part of the Green Capital Europe and leads past small settlements, extensive fields, special sights and unique views of the city-cities of the Ruhr area. "
