The Glud Museum was founded in 1912 by the local master painter Søren Knudsen. The museum started with just a single building, but has now grown to include 12 historic buildings and facilities.
The stories in the buildings are supplemented each year by a series of large and small events, each of which helps to focus on daily life from 1660 to the present day.
