In this place was the most important Wildemanner Pochwerk mid-16th century to 1901. In the Pochwerk the ores mined from the mines were first coarsely crushed by hand and sorted, than then crushed under the heavy, iron studded Pochstempeln to fine sand and in Schlämmkästen on Washing and tarpaulins herd of "deaf" shares separated. The product "Schlieg" was delivered to the hut. Further Pochwerke stood in the Spiegeltal and the Wildemanner hut.

Equipment (machines) with vertically falling punches for pounding (crushing) ores and slag. In the stamp mills, water power was used to drive the shaft. One or more punches have been wedged into the shaft. As a result of the rotary movement, these punches pressed the end of the pointer downwards. The axis of the punching bar was placed in such a way that, after driving over the punch, the punch fell down by normal gravity and hammered the ore chunks.
