Hydro-ecologically interesting pond in Esbach between Gehren and Gräfinau-Angstedt.
The pond is part of the nature reserve "Pennewitzer Teiche - Unteres Wohlrose Valley" and the size of the pond is approximately 4.7 hectares.
In addition to the marked rest area, the circular route around the pond offers lots of information about flora and fauna in the form of signs along the way.
A great place for a hike or bike tour. We recommend.

Beautiful pond with water lilies and many benches on the shore. A beautiful trail leads right along the shore.

Very nice pond with a path around it in the former military area.
A small nature trail is also laid out and there are occasional seats.
