Kelsterbar
It has long been the desire of many Kelsterbacher to settle on the beautiful banks of the Main and to be able to enjoy a glass of wine along with a delicious snack. Now this wish came true with the opening of the "Kelsterbar". A bar instead of an old Stromhäuschens on Kelsterbacher main bank is in principle a nice exchange. Even though the "bar" is a container solution, the terrace set in front of it adds considerable value to the ambience. If it gets too crowded, it can spread in the green Mainanalage or on the Kelsterterrasse. The unobstructed view of the Mainbogen is granted to all.

On Wednesday evening opened the "Kelsterbar" for the first time their gates and operator Jens Stöber including team were literally overrun. "We did not expect such a rush on the first day," said Stöber after a short night. The news that the "Kelsterbar" would open had spread through the social networks. "On Tuesday evening we were still building, there were probably already more than 50 people, which we could only offer something to drink," reported Stöber. That on the opening day then also great beach weather prevailed, made the matter perfect.

The KelsterBar is an open air location directly on the banks of the Main. There is a wooden deck with about 80 seats, sunbathing lawns with sun loungers and a beer garden area. Selected wines, drafted wheat beers and mixed specials frame the small food assortment. In addition to oven-fresh Tarte Flambée, Spundekäs and fresh Wurstsalat there are weekly changing local specialties.
