Located at approximately 720 meters above sea level and built in the 19th century, just below the ridge that extends from Sintria to Lamone, Ca' Malanca allows you to observe one of the widest and most interesting panoramas of the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines. Since 10 July 2017 the Ca' di Malanca Association, established on the initiative of the ANPI sections of the Faenza and Imola areas, has managed the "Resistance Documentation Center - Ca' di Malanca". The aim is to conserve and protect the Ca' di Malanca site, to continue to remember those who fought for freedom and to make the history of this extraordinary place of memory known to the new generations.
Numerous documents, photographs, posters and explanatory panels are on display to document the history of the 36th Garibaldi "Alessandro Bianconcini" Brigade, the battle of Purocielo and the Liberation struggle. Furthermore, a large library containing numerous books dedicated to the Resistance is available to those who visit.
The documentation center is open every public holiday from 10:00 to 18:00 from 25 April until the last Sunday of October.
