In autumn 2016 the "Bad Erlacher Sagenweg" was opened. There are a total of 5 beautiful life-size wooden sculptures by the well-known chainsaw woodcarver Willi Frieß from Weiz in Styria.

One evening a young girl came home from Wiener Neustadt. As it passed the bridge over the Pittenbach, it noticed light under the bridge that came from a fire. An old woman was sitting there baking on an open flame in a pan
delicious looking donuts. When the old woman asked the girl if there were donuts home with her
wanted to take, this of course answered the question in the affirmative. The woman gave the girl some beautiful looking and fragrant donuts in her open apron and the girl
continued on his way home and was already looking forward to the delicacy.
On arrival at home, the church clock struck midnight - and when the girl tried to put her delicious donuts from her apron into a bowl, she noticed that she was only holding "horse dumplings" in her hand.
