This cycle path is an exemplary example of what a successful cycle infrastructure looks like. It takes you from the beach town of La Arena to the center of Barakaldo (or the other way around). The path is not a bicycle path that has been removed from the car path with street paint, but rather it is an independent path with a surface that is easy to roll on. At the beginning (or end) of the path you drive through a quiet valley on a slight incline.

Unforgettable are those about 10 kilometers, which I drove on my Camino del Norte from Bilbao to the beach at La Arena. Ingeniously I found that one as a cyclist without crossing, parallel to the highway, led out of the city. Relaxed you can enjoy nature.
This is a successful traffic concept and should serve as a role model in this country.
