The beautifully finished forecourt of Mondoñedo Cathedral is an excellent place to take a break. Here you can stay in the shade and watch the hustle and bustle of the market. There are enough cafes in the square, which will be happy to provide you with all sorts of goodies.

It is very worthwhile to visit this cathedral! There is a good audio guide that helps to understand and admire many details. Hours are from 10:00 to 18:30 and at 19:00 is Pilgrimage (September 2019).
