St. Sophia Cathedral in Kiev - the oldest, historic Latin cathedral in Kiev, the seat of the bishopric of the Catholic Church in the Kiev diocese, belonging from 1412 to the Lviv metropolis. The cathedral was located in the Padole district of Kiev, next to the Dominican monastery.

The earliest records of the temple come from the chronicle of Thietmar, which describes the entry of the troops of Bolesław the Brave and Sviatopolk I into Kiev in 1018, and also mentions that the "monasterio Sophiae" was burned down in the previous year.
The wooden cathedral in Kiev was mentioned in the inspection from 1569.
