The small hut's garden is a real highlight, as you sit directly under mighty pines that rise slender and vertically into the sky. The house is located above the "Eisensteinhöhle" cave system discovered in the quarry. There are simple snacks and meals that change regularly.

Built at the end of the 1960s over the cave system of the guided tour "Eisensteinhöhle" discovered over 150 years ago during mining in the quarry, the lowest refuge of the Austrian Alpine Association, the "Haus Eisensteinhöhle", stands in the protection of the now overgrown quarry walls under the natural shade of tall pine trees. The stone walls protect against the northwest weather and the pine trees ensure a pleasant climate in the guest garden on hot summer days.
