A legend from the Middle Ages.

The forester Scrooge went
from Rodenberg am Deister,
because it belongs to his class,
to stalk as a hunter.
When he returns from the forest
luckily he still saw in the Deister,
on a forest corner,
the stag in hiding.

The hunter struck him down.
But when he got his prey
wanted to fetch came to his mind

stood helpless in the Deister.

When Scrooge thought about it

out of need he wanted to help.
He quickly built on it
the devil's bridge, beautiful.

Recovering from the fright, he took the deer,
which he only exempted
and carried the prey of his stalk,
the lucky he get
into the count's castle, the count is delighted,
rewarded the attention.

The forester - not bad at all -
went to the brewery.

The hunter met Zecher there,
