Cavity located at the foot of Mount Albino, formed by 3 communicating caves, the main one of which is known as Grotta di Annibale, while the other two are respectively called Grotta dei Pipistrelli and Grotta Oscura, the latter accessible with a helmet and torch. It is local belief that the Carthaginian commander Hannibal took refuge here, together with his army, during the siege of Nuceria in 216 BC.
