One of the most popular destinations in Kampen is the Red Cliff. A 52-meter-high cliff stretching between Kampen and Wenningstedt, it has served as a landmark for sailors for centuries. Take a walk along the cliff and learn about its geological features. Even in the colder season, when the weather slowly cools down, such a walk in the iodine-rich sea air is beneficial. A visit at sunset is especially recommended, as it appears as if the cliff is truly bathed in red light.

The section from the dunes Uwe to Wennigstedt is highly recommended. Very beautiful thin landscape that leads partly over wooden bridges. A real highlight.
