Le Cottede is a small village near Montepiano Prato. The location is known because the forest of the same name begins here, which extends up to the Tavianella pass and beyond to the sanctuary of the Madonna delle Grazie in Boccadirio, the mountains around Baragazza and Cà di Landino. Rich in vegetation, animals (roe deer, fawns, deer) as well as a varied range of insects.
