The Boniface Chapel is open to the public free of charge from June 1 to September 15, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The chapel commemorates the death of Boniface at this spot in 754. A 2.5-meter-high stone statue of the saint stands here, holding a Bible protectively over his head. According to legend, Boniface attempted to defend himself with this Bible.

The pilgrimage church is designed as a Roman amphitheater. The more than 1,600 seats are located in the hemisphere. The altar and seating are covered. In between there is an uncovered so-called "Light Court" that is intended to allow the visitor to experience the connection with nature. Above the seats there is a processional corridor, along which the history of Boniface is displayed.
