The transmitter mast is a remnant of medium wave radio. At the beginning of 2012, SWR stopped providing medium wave radio and switched off transmission. Now the mast, 273 m high, stands useless but impressive above Mühlacker.
High maintenance costs meant that it was questionable for a long time whether it would remain standing.
