A small group is having fun between the trees in a park on Norderstedter Rathausallee: a woman and two young children are circling a metal parasol on a paved elevation. Sculptor Hans Joachim Frielinghaus created a cheerful and carefree sculpture that is dominated by the movement of the three figures. People don't look at each other directly, but seem engrossed in the game. The dynamism is underlined by the outstretched arms of all three, through which the relationships to one another become clear. The clothing, which was artistically modeled by the sculptor, with its sloping panels, also reinforces the effect. The dense trees in the area round off the whole ensemble and frame the scene.
