Castle Woerden is about 600 years old. Today the location is used for art exhibitions in the vaults, catering and room rental for weddings and events.

At Kasteel Woerden you can still see the fortification town very well. The castle was built between 1407 and 1415 by Duke Jan van Beieren (known as Johann III in Bavaria) Heer van Woerden. You can now live there or dine on the terrace. The Sint-Bonaventurakerk (Holy Bonaventura Church) is the typical photo that is known for Woerden.
