For the fallen soldiers of the First World War, the Military Association Todtnau erected a memorial on the Brandfelsen in 1932. It has the unusual shape of a sword on the handle. On the pedestal are the names of the fallen from the Todtnauer parish attached. The total height is 16 meters. (Source: Schwarzwald Tourismus GmbH)
