Like a gateway to the Black Forest, the Geroldsauer Mühle lies at the foot of the Black Forest High Road in Baden-Baden. The building is considered to be the largest wooden building made of silver fir in Europe. The Geroldsauer Mühle can accommodate overnight guests in four double rooms and two suites.

The extensive and unique mill facility includes a mid-18th century flour mill, an 1800 barley tamping mill, an 1848 oil mill, various sawmills, a belt-driven sharpening machine, a belt driven belt mill and a mid-20th century high pressure press a small hydropower plant for power generation. The technical equipment is in original condition.
