The school is built in the center of the village. The two-storey building is closed off by a gable roof, which originally had a turret on it further to the east. The central roof turret, which has been in place since 1982, houses a bell. The entire ground floor serves as a worship meeting room. The flat-roofed room is illuminated on the south side through segmented arched windows. The north windows are bricked up. The central, stained stained glass window from 1982 on the west side facing the street was designed by Erhardt Klonk and executed by him and his workshop. On the outside it shows a cross of flames in bright colors, on the inside a tree of life. A white cross is attached to the window reveal. The two western outer windows are decorated with Christian symbols, Α and Ω (alpha and omega) and the Christ monogram ☧.

The most striking element is the cross of flames on the window on the street side. Today's Evangelical Church is the former school building of Stockhausen. After the school was closed in 1969, it was used as a club house. In 1980-1982 it was converted into an Evangelical Church and a community center.
