The museum village is an ensemble of 27 buildings from the period between the 16th and 19th centuries. Most of them come from the district of Uelzen and were rebuilt here to illustrate agricultural life in the Südheide. In addition to guided tours, there are also various events. The facility can be explored on circular paths in a small heather area surrounded by forest. The old Lüneburg Parliament Square is also accessible from here. Entry costs 6 EUR for adults; Children up to 17 years are free. By the way, near the museum village there is also a very idyllic educational forest trail that you should definitely walk through.
