The restored castle, which marks the top of Bormes is unfortunately privately owned and therefore can not be visited. But the views from the outside, as well as the panoramic view from the neighboring viewing platform reward the climb.

The Château des Seigneurs de Fos dominates the terracotta roofs of the medieval city and is the highest point of the village (104 m). It was built between the 13th and 14th centuries and is a testimony to the passage and rule of the Counts of Provence.

Classified as a Historic Monument (Main Tower) since 1931, it is not open to sightseeing, but you can admire a magnificent panorama of the Bay of Lavandou, the Levante Islands and Port Cros and the port of Favière, as well as the private domain of Cape Bénat and Gaou Bénat.

The well-preserved city wall dates back to the founding of the village (12th century).
