We took the bus from Obermaiselstein to the Riedbergpass Mittelalpe, over this around the Besler, and then the Königsweg back to Obermaiselstein... as already described here, very beautiful, varied and in sections steep ascent and descent.
We really only recommend the via ferrata to those who have a head for heights, are sure-footed and experienced hikers.
