The Hohburg is located on the Börner peninsula on the Westensee. Many years ago there was a robber baron's castle nearby - hence the name. Not much can be seen of the castle today. Only the ring wall still bears witness to this. A wall can still be seen across the Börner, where the new pump is today. He will have protected the castle on the land side with a palisade fence.
Today there are three small huts here. Youth groups etc. can spend the night here in nature.
