The Drommedaris is a defense structure at the entrance to the Oude Haven and originally stood on the Westfriesedijk. The old name of the building is Zuiderpoort or Ketenpoort and later also Wilgenburg. The name Drommedaris or Domburg was first used in the 19th century.
