The Schullandheim Bissel was founded in 1948 as a foundation of the boys 'school Röwekamp and the girls' school Heiligengeisttor Oldenburg. The 32-hectare site was part of the former field airfield Bissel. The British military government supported the project. The sheet-shaped corrugated corrugated corrugated iron sheets were built by parents and students in countless hours of free labor. There are two accommodation houses, a farm building, a teaching house and a guest house. Through modifications and extensions, the home has been adapted to the needs of the time. The Schullandheim in Bissel is located outside the village and from here it is not far to the Ahlhorner fish ponds. The buildings are created from the time after the Second World War in the form of the "Nissen huts".
