And this is how Benedetto gives up.
After a serious accident which left him at the end of his life, the Madonna appeared to him again and healed him, and this is how his family was also convinced and helped him in this undertaking.

Over the years, the sanctuary has been the scene of several stage finishes of the Giro d'Italia, characterized by a challenging climb of 9 km, with an average gradient of 8% and a maximum gradient of 21, and a total height difference of 719 metres.
