Here you walk a long way on the former railway path, of which most walkers know the tunnel, but which of course went much further than just that part under Dalhem. Today it is for cycling and walking and here and there there are pieces that remind you of the past, such as the remains of a small bridge that you will find a little further on.

As a reminder: in 1906 the local railway line opened in 1898 ran from Liège to Blégny. Two years later 's-Gravenvoer was reached. In 1945, passenger transport stopped and the route was still used for goods for a while. The tourist Li Trimbleu was started in the 1970s until the accident in 1991 in Dalhem in which seven people died. On part of the line (not on this part) there are still rails with asphalt in between.

The stretch here, from Dalhem to the Blégny mine via Feneur and Saint-Remy, is completely asphalted and a full-fledged RAVeL road. Of course you have many beautiful views here as we know them from the Herve country, cows included. There are also quite a few benches and at the crossings of municipal boundaries and intersections with roads there are small car parks with picnic benches and information signs.
