    The Mottets refuge is located in the magnificent Vallée des Glaciers at the foot of the Col de la Seigne. Located at an altitude of 1,834 meters, it offers very good dishes, as well as the possibility of sleeping there.

        Refuge des Mottets is a mountain hut in the French Alps, located in the Vallée des Glaciers valley. The hut is at an elevation of 1,864 meters (6,115 feet) above sea level and is a popular destination for hikers. The hut was built in 1910 and has capacity for 80 people. The hut has a restaurant, a bar, and a terrace with views of the surrounding mountains. Open from June to September.

          Great Refuge. The atmosphere and view are great - especially during dinner in the hall. You get to sit at long tables and share a big pot of stew. By the end of the day someone will start to sing French folk songs while playing a hand organ.

            Emerging from a former alp, Refuge der Mottets is a good example of the economic momentum that TMB is developing in the hinterland. In 2010, a new guest room tract was opened and you can eat here exquisite, tasty rural-rustic, as the French like it.
