Coal Harbor is a centrally located neighborhood known for its marina, mountain scenery and casual, upscale coastal restaurants. Between the towering residential towers near the modern glass-roofed Vancouver Convention Center, seaplanes regularly take off. The Seawall, a paved hiking and biking trail, runs along the coast to wooded Stanley Park, home to the Vancouver Aquarium, home to tropical fish and penguins, and a skate cuddling tank.
