The Alprosenweg is a very nice trail as a connection between the Schwansee and the Alpsee. This leads mainly through forest.

The Alpsee simply offers a great panorama, the mountains and when you walk around 5km you even have a great view of both castles.
Dog owners should know that there are gratings at the lower end of the lake that cannot be bypassed.
