2. On the great wall of the town hall. Living together on colorful ground, Edwin Harbers and Paul Wieggers, 2017. Two adults with two children are depicted, with above them the municipal coat of arms, the purple butterfly. It is made of glass mosaic, it contains 30,000 pieces measuring two by two centimeters. Originally this was intended for the painted area at the back of the building. However, when it turned out that the fire escape was an objection there, it was moved to the large bare wall at the front.
4. The old municipal coat of arms has also remained in place after the municipal reorganization.
5. A monument to the Indies-goers Stortelder, Doppen, Eekelder, de Vies, Tankink and Visser has also been made in the facade.
6. At the back of the town hall, a mural has now been made on the area where the mosaic was originally supposed to be.
