Predilpass section between Log pod Mangartom and the border. From Log pod Mangartom it becomes significantly steeper. The topping is pretty good. About halfway up the climb there is a small village where you can fill up your water bottle at a well. With great views of the Koritnica valley, it is no longer that steep to the branch to Mangart. Past the beautifully situated Predel fortress shortly before the pass, it is not far from there.
