For me it was a premiere and I enjoyed bringing the firn to crackle with the bike and surfing on it. It was worth it to get out of bed so early, because the sun brings the firn to melt quickly and then driving is no longer possible and you have to hike the 3km. And you can also hike elsewhere.

Yes, it was my premiere. With the bike on the glacier. It has paid off that we were traveling so early. The firn was only a little thawed and so we were able to really drive the about 3km long glacier run. I can not say how long it would take to mutate to Sulz and then all that remains is hiking. Simply a very special experience.
