The water mill of Castle d'Erp dates from 1700 and was at that time the property of the then inhabitants of the castle. The mill, with its undershot waterwheel, demonstrates how grain was once ground.

In 1970, the community took over the watermill and restored it to its original condition. The restored watermill at Castle d'Erp is open for visitors on Saturdays from 10am to 12 noon.

Washing place De Sprunk.

The name of this washing place De Sprunk means (water) jump. This means: a spontaneous source. The water is collected in the basin with an overflow to the Kwistbeek.

From the Middle Ages, this waterhole was used as a drinking place for cattle. The cattle had grazed in herds on the 'common' meadows and floodplains of the Meuse and returned to the village in the evening with their shepherd.

From the beginning of the 19th century, this sprunk was given the function of a village washing place. The current structure dates from 1870. The women from the village came to the Sprunk with wheelbarrows and baskets full of laundry to do their laundry. As a matter of course, the most important village news was discussed.

Historical washing demonstrations are still regularly organized.
