The OSP Brandenburg with its location in Potsdam has been one of the most successful medal suppliers in Germany for many years when it comes to the Olympic Games, World and European Championships as well as international competitions in the youth and junior sector. The optimal framework conditions of the “Am Luftschiffhafen” area are an important reason for this. The sports park is one of the most modern performance centers in Germany and is characterized by the short distances between the training facility and diagnostic centers, elite school, dormitory, cafeteria and medical care. The maximum distance of all facilities is no more than one kilometer.

At the Potsdam location are the Federal Support Points (BSP) canoe racing and athletics as well as the Federal Support Points Youngsters (BSP-N) in rowing, swimming, triathlon, modern pentathlon and water polo. In addition, the training base Paralympic swimming and the main sports soccer (w) and bobsleigh. The offer is supplemented by the regional focus on judo, volleyball (female) and handball (male).
