A little more than a kilometer downstream from Örträsket is this rafting dam with an adjoining overnight house. The Örträsk Dam was completed in 1924 and was in use until 1977 when rafting (the transport of floating tree trunks) in the Öreälven water system ceased. The dam, renovated in the early 1990s, is the largest of its kind in Västerbotten and has become a popular destination.
